It's hard to believe, but the Holiday Season is here! It might seems early, but let's talk about shipping deadlines! Each shipping service has provided information on when the last day is for items to ship so that they arrive by Christmas. We offer free economy shipping on all orders over $35, but we also offer the option for customers to upgrade their shipping at checkout. This option includes rates calculated by the shipping carrier based on the weight of the items in the order. The rates are offered at a significant discount, so it can actually be very affordable to upgrade shipping! Below are the shipping cutoffs for UPS and USPS (the carriers we use) for the Holiday Season.
UPS
When using UPS, we most commonly ship via Ground Saver. This service does not have a cutoff date because it varies based on location. However, it typically takes anywhere from two to five business days for a customer to receive an item via Ground Saver, so keep that in mind if you are selecting Economy Shipping. The final dates for express shipping are as follows:
UPS 3 Day Select: December 19th
UPS 2nd Day Air: December 20th
UPS Next Day Air: December 21st
USPS
When we ship USPS, we usually ship Ground Advantage. Like UPS Ground Saver, it does not have an official cutoff since times vary based on location. However, USPS does not recommend using Ground Advantage after December 16th. The cutoff for expedited shipping are as follows:
USPS Priority Mail: December 18th for Continental U.S. and Alaska, December 16th for Hawaii
USPS Priority Mail Express: December 20th
